Joseph Leo Gagnon, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1958 in Elkhart, Indiana, to the late Leo Paul and Mary Therese (Kiefer) Gagnon.
He worked for RCA as a technician for many years and was a member of the Msgr. James M. Downey, Council 3660 of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to fish, play cards, cook and garden.
Survivors include his sisters, Rose Marie Gagnon-Gautreau, Julia Ann (Ron) Schmidt, Jennifer D. Schnorr and Loraine C. (John) Vilardo; brother, Paul A. (Kathleen) Gagnon; and nieces and nephews, David and Brian Gagnon, Christopher Gautreau, Garrett and Jessica Schmidt and Jennifer, Megan (deceased), AJ, Abby and Landon (great-nephew).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church with visitation prior to Mass in the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Fr. Nicholas Dant will preside.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Msgr. James M. Downey, Council 3660 Knights of Columbus or St. Roch Catholic Church; envelopes will be provided at the church.
