Judith Ann (Moyer) Young

Judith Ann Young passed away peacefully at home on August 2nd at the age of 94.  She is survived by her husband, Fred, to whom she was married nearly 75 years. Judy was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and was preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma Moyer, and her three siblings, George, Jack, and Marcie.

Judy was a lifetime member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being involved in any opportunity to serve others and her community. She was especially fond of her time spent hand quilting with her close friends. She also dedicated more than 30 years to volunteer service at St. Francis Hospital.

Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children Kathy, Bonnie (Mike),  Fred (Candi), Tom (Susan), Tim (Kelli), twelve grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6th at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2015 South Arlington Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, preceded by a visitation from 4:00 until 6:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
