Kristofer Musgrove Obituary

Kristofer John Musgrove, 57, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Kris was born on January 26, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kris graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, where he enjoyed wrestling and learning the skills that would carry him through his career. It was there where he met the love of his life, Janell. Kris and Janell spent every minute they could together. They began their journey together when they were still kids, and that adventure would continue for nearly 40 years, blessing them with two wonderful boys. Kris was an incredibly strong and supportive husband and father. He would do absolutely anything for his family and friends.

After high school, Kris began his career as an Industrial Mechanic. Early on in his career, Kris had the opportunity to visit different cities and towns all over the Midwest, repairing and maintaining the heavy machinery that keeps our country's infrastructure running. After his time on the road, Kris made the decision to get off the road to spend more time at home with his family. It was at this time he began working with Horner Industrial Group, where he dedicated 25 years of service. Kris loved his work, his work family, and all of the close-knit bonds with his brothers he worked with.

When he wasn't knee-deep in grease at work, Kris loved to spend time with family. He loved being outside with his wife watering and maintaining her flowers. He enjoyed hanging out on the back porch drinking and chatting with the neighbors. He loved being near the water, whether it be fishing on a lake with his sons or enjoying the ocean air with his loving wife, he couldn't get enough. Kris absolutely loved the Colts; he would watch every game with his wife and had his entire garage covered from floor to ceiling with posters, autographs, and other memorabilia. Kris was a strong willed, stone-hard guy until he got a little older. When he became a grandpa, he completely melted into a big teddy bear. Picking on and teasing each grandkid brought him so much joy.

He is survived by his sons, Paul (Tori) and Kyle (Sarah) Musgrove; grandchildren, Naomi and Aiden; step-grandchildren, Connor and Colt; sisters, Karen Hodge (Brian), Kathren Mitchell (Brian) , Karla Musgrove (Linda McFerron), and Katrena Parker (James).

He was preceded in death by his wife Janell Musgrove, father Daniel Musgrove, mother Mary Musgrove, and brother Kennith Musgrove.
