Lawrence Budenz

Lawrence J. Budenz, 75, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022.  Lawrence was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 22, 1947 to the late Gladys (Holt) and Leo A. Budenz, Jr.

Larry deeply loved his children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law.  His family and friends brought him a tremendous amount of joy and would travel often to visit them.  Larry always spoke highly about all of his family and was very proud of the accomplishments of his children, nieces and nephews, and their families.  He was a very intelligent, thoughtful, and generous person; always giving of himself to others.  Larry was a passionate writer and an avid card player.

Larry was a proud Army veteran and served three tours in Vietnam.

Larry is survived by his children Matthew (Jackie) and Bo Bridgett (Allen), grandchildren Jacob, Zachary, Titus, Alphonse, and Iris, siblings Kathy Blais (Curt), Cyndy Budenz Campbell Salins, and Leo Budenz (Lisa), and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian Street.  A service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Douglas Hunter officiating.  Inurnment:  Calvary Cemetery.
