Lawrence "Nick" Teipen Jr.

Lawrence “Nick” Teipen, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 23, 2025.

He was born January 11, 1946 to Lawrence Nicholas Teipen, Sr. and Marianne (Alerding)Teipen.

Nick was a proud Navy veteran having served during Vietnam from 1965 to 1969.  He enjoyed fishing and coin collecting.  He was retired from AADCO, inc., the company he built.

He is survived by his current wife, Stephanie (Tecson) Teipen; children, Lori Puthoff, Wayne Teipen (Amy), Wendy Teipen, and Troy Teipen (Mary); grandchildren, Jillian Puthoff, Abigail, Josie, and Joel Teipen, Andy and Molly Tupper, Maddie, Sam, Megan, and Marla Teipen; and siblings, Jay Teipen (Marty), Patti Bellue, Tom Teipen (Sherry), and Jan Teipen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Karen Andrews and Tony Teipen; and aunt and godmother who he adored, Sister Mary Maxine Teipen among others.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46225. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and Mass from 10:00 am to approximately 11:00 am with burial and graveside service to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
