Linda Jeanne Ritter

Linda Jeanne Ritter, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Franciscan Hospice House. She was born on May 18, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joseph and Mary Jane “Jane” (Hermann) Ritter.

Linda attended Ladywood-St. Agnes Academy and transferred to Lawrence High School. Her love of the beach lead her to collect seashells and do crafting. She enjoyed watching episodes of CSI, NCIS and all the other tv crime dramas.  Linda read the Harry Potter novels numerous times and watched all the movies. Linda had admiration for her Savior, Jesus.

Linda was the ground-keeping supervisor with the South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, Florida.

Linda is survived by her wife, Sandy Asimakopoulos; sisters, Lucy Cahill (Joe) and Julie Wylonis; eleven nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and nephews; her extended family and friends and last but not least, her cats, Rusty, Luke and Bandit.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, followed by a Committal Service at 3:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, 435 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to: Sheltering Wings, 1251 Sycamore Lane, Danville, Indiana 46122.
