Lonnie “Bug” Edward Decker, age 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born on January 31, 1963 in Indianapolis to the late Louis H. and Bessie M. (Watson) Decker.
Lonnie was a loving and devoted husband, dad and son-in-law; he always put his family first, most especially his wife Mary.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary J. (Gore) Decker; step-children, Tonya S. Murphy (Jimmy Leggins) and Heather K. Powers; siblings, James, Jeannie, Morris, Debbie, Ronnie, Sandy, Rosie, Terry, Sharon, Mary, Edith; mother-in-law, Janet J. Gore; and grandchildren, Alicia K. Murphy, Damion A. Murphy, Malachi Murphy, Dezaray Murphy, Caylee Gonzalez, Charles Gonzalez and Carolina Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Bobby Dale Powers; brother, Butch Decker; and father-in-law, Charles L. Gore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Brother Phillips conducting services. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Cory, Indiana.
