LouAnn Ludlow, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Franciscan Health Hospital. She was born on April 4, 1947, in Indianapolis, to the late Leonard Joseph and Lucille Catherine (Lucid) Adolay.
Lou Ann graduated from Emmerich Manual High School, class of 1965. Prior to retirement, she worked for St. Francis Hospital as a nurse extender (CNA). Lou Ann was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a volunteer at Bethany Community Garden with her husband, Mike. She loved to cook, fish with her husband and shop at thrift stores. She enjoyed family gatherings, fish frys and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include, her loving husband, Michael Ludlow; sons, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Ludlow, Nicholas (Abby) Ludlow and Brenten (Tiffany) Ludlow; siblings, Peter Adolay, Mark (Rebecca) Adolay, Cynthia Gaffney and Paula (William) Campbell; grandchildren, Allison (Kristopher) Kuehr, Megan Ludlow, Grace Ludlow, Michael Ludlow, Cole Ludlow, Maleah Ludlow, Grey Ludlow, Olivia (Jordan) Chortos, Nathaniel Ludlow and Adolay Ludlow; great-grandchild, Mable Chortos; and best friend, Patsy Williams. Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Ludlow; and brother, Anthony Adolay.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St. A service will follow visitation at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
