Marvin Dale Nay

Marvin Dale Nay, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 20, 2026. He was born on February 23, 1942, in Columbus, Indiana, to the late Avery and Virginia (Carmichael) Nay.

A 1960 graduate of Seymour High School, Dale proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He later retired from Cummins Engine after 37 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Karen (Scott) Nay; daughter, Jeanine (Charles) King; and grandchildren, Aidan and Adrian King, and Viktor Nay. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Roger Dale Nay.

Services will be held on a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.
