Mary Ann Lutz

Beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Mary Ann Lutz left this world on June 11, 2023, at the age of 64.

She was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Margaret and John Lutz II.

After moving to Hunterdon County, she became very involved in raising, training, and riding horses, also working as a farrier throughout the county. She loved all animals, especially her beloved miniature schnauzers, Irish setter, kitties, and horses.

MaryAnn was quick-witted with a great sense of humor, always brightening the conversation. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and entertaining.

She worked as an estimator at her parent's business, John Lutz Welding and Fabricating in Frenchtown, NJ for many years. Following a move to Indianapolis, Indiana she worked as Financial Controller at Marc Woodworking Inc that she retired from.

She was a former member of the Kingwood Township Rescue Squad.

She is predeceased by her brother, John L. Lutz III, mother, Margaret Mary Lutz, and father, John L. Lutz II.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Denise Howell and her partner, Michael Moran of Catonsville, Maryland, along with her sisters Margaret Lutz with husband Michael Zimmerman and their daughters Kyla and Abby of Milford, PA, and Patricia Barabas with her husband James Barabas of Three Bridges, NJ and their children Adam and Martha of Lambertville, NJ and her former husband and dear friend Dennis Howell of Flemington, NJ. and many other relatives and friends whom she loved.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
