Mary Putt Obituary

Mary Alta Putt, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born on July 17, 1947, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to the late Donald and Lois (Troxell) Putt.

Mary attended DePaul University in Chicago and continued working for the university following graduation. She retired from the Rockford, Maryland Government Center where she was the administrator for all county telecommunications. Mary was a good seamstress and enjoyed quilting and needlepoint. She loved children and doted on her nieces, nephews and children of friends.

Survivors include her siblings, Patricia Martin, Sandra Putt and Donna (David) Ashpaugh; niece and nephews, Robert (Lisa) Martin, Stewart Martin, Jennifer (Timothy) Will and David (Desiree) McDonald; and great-nieces and nephews, Kylie, Mason, Kensi, Kaydence, Kristopher, K.D. and Kaelyn.

Services will be private and inurnment will take place at a later time in Pennsylvania with her parents.
