Megan Nichole Blanton-Garcia

Megan Nichole Blanton-Garcia, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023, in Eskenazi Hospital.  She was born on June 10, 1988, in Indianapolis, to Edna (Carpenter) Blanton and Roy Brown. 

Megan loved her children and family no matter the circumstances in her life.  She loved to Door Dash and always found ways to stay busy.  She will be missed by her family and friends. 

Survivors include her parents, Edna Blanton and Roy Brown; husband, Edmundo Garcia; children, Juanito Blanton, Amayah Blanton and Avian Garcia; siblings, Angela Carr, Roy Blanton and Tara Salazar; nieces and nephews, Brittany Benefiel, Bradley Goode, Kristen Noe, Patience Coss, Carley (Monica) Smith, Gerald Noe, Christopher Kennedy, Taylor Coss and Matthew Coss; great-nieces and nephews, Jalah Coss, Nevaeh Blanton, Cameron Irwin and Richard Blanton.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Christian Coss. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, October 13 from 11 to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, with a service at 1 p.m. with good friend Jeri Ray officiating.  She will be cremated following services in keeping with her wishes.
