Megan Nicole Smith

Megan Nicole Smith, age 36, of Santorini, Greece, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after fighting stage 4 melanoma.

Megan was born on April 16, 1989, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Todd and Karla Smith. She was an adventurer, living in Chicago and then Santorini.

She was known for living every day in the moment and will be remembered for bringing people together and being a positive light for her community.

Megan is survived by her mother and father; sisters, Kathryn (Mason) Lamping and Kailyn (Tarcan) Smith; brother, Jared (Kelsey) Smith; niece, Harper Smith; nephew, Eliot Smith; and fiancé, Vagelis Marinis.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Megan.
