Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Ms. Mia Joy Gregory

Ms. Mia Joy Gregory, age 17, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered this life on June 16, 2004, the daughter of Leah Rose and Mathew Milow Gregory, Sr. She attended Perry Township schools most recently Southport High School where she was a senior. She worked in retail she was employed at Kroger. Mia loved to have conversations and enjoyed making true connections with the people she surrounded herself with. She was not afraid to give her opinion on anything she felt strongly about but would allow any opposing views room to express themselves before tactfully explaining what the mistake was in their thought process . All those that knew her were blessed by her caring nature and larger than life good humor. Mia will be greatly missed by her family.  Mia died on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 9:37 a.m. at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mia will be missed by her loving parents, Leah Rose and Mathew Milow Gregory; her brothers, Evan Mabie and his life Partner, Tyler Elliott, Mathew Milow Gregory, Jr. and his significant other, Brittany Hays; his paternal grandmother, Jeanette Sue Gregory; his maternal grandmother, Sherril Ann Everman; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathers, Leonard G. Gregory and her maternal grandfather, Eddie R. Abney.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services,  1458 South Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
