Mildred Aline (Key) Spalding

Mildred Aline (Key) Spalding, 91, of Beech Grove, passed away peacefully at her home on March 21, 2021. She was born March 21, 1930 in Summer Shade, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Rhoten) Key.

A homemaker, Mildred was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Ave Maria Guild at Our Lady of Grace and the Altar Society at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  She was also a member of Smock Ladies Golf Club and the Sarah Shank Ladies Golf Club.

Mildred is survived by her children, James Dennis "Jim Denny" (Michelle) Spalding, Rita Spalding and Joe Spalding; grandson, Shane (Emily) Bolton.  In addition to her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband, James Francis Spalding in 1989 and her brothers, Jesse, Oscar and Arthur Key.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2021 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 520 Stevens Street, Indianapolis.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
