The Rainbow Connection
There is something to be said about a rainbow.
The colors flow so effortlessly into each other.
They harmoniously blend creating a beautiful arch.
It cannot be made with shades of one or two.
It takes all 7 colors to create the colorful bow.
Just like the colors that are carefully twined
Are the individuals that make up GMWIG.
Each one is like a color that individually shine.
However when put together something beautiful is formed.
Infinitely blended our hearts we do bind.
Each member is unique as their talents
When combined
Creating a bond that strengthens over time.
Connected through tradition a true family is born.
Some Woodmen, some Irish together as one.
Whether far or near their hearts entwined.
As we remember the ones who have gone on before,
If they be staff, Pit Dads, Box Moms, alumni and more.
Their legacy that is left can always be seen
In the lives forever changed by this family tree.
Like the colors of the rainbow that blend so well it’s this RAINBOW CONNECTION that binds us once more.
