Pauline (Tarter) Myers

Pauline (Tarter) Myers, 96, of Indianapolis, died January 11, 2021.  She was born February 24, 1924 in Columbia, Kentucky to the late James Monte and Maud Della (Holt) Tarter. 

Pauline was a homemaker and retiree of Eli Lilly and Company.  On April 24, 1943, she married Arlen Eugene Myers in Southport, Indiana.

Pauline is survived by her children, Steven Darryl Myers (Jerry), Susan Gale Kennedy (George) and David Eugene Myers; sister, Ada Phyllis Fisher; grandchildren, Steffanie Jean Hodge (Bob), Janice Kennedy Monahan (Brian), Christine M. Kennedy, Bradley Myers, Keely Myers Easton, Melissa Marie Jeffers Russell (Tom) and Sarah Katherine Jeffers Irvin (Roman); seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Beverly Myers; sister-in-law, Bonnie Tarter; brother-in-law, Burt Hall.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by children and their spouses, Daniel Bruce Myers, Peggy Marie Jeffers Maynard; siblings and their spouses, Herbert Lee Tarter, Omer Ray and Mary Ellen Tarter, Curtis Edwin and Mildred Tarter, Ruby Frances and Lowell Church, Virgil Dowel and Anna Tarter, Elsie Helen and Edgar Skaggs, Maxine and Dick Skaggs, Hobert Lester Tarter and Carol Janet Hall.

Following Pauline’s request, there will be no public services.  Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.  Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
