Pauline F. Whited, 88, of Lebanon and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was born on April 19, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late Ora L. and Julia A. (Lynch) Cloud.
Pauline enjoyed life, always had a good time and never met a stranger. She was an avid reader and loved to travel when she was younger. Pauline loved to work and didn’t even think of retiring until she was 79. She was known to many as “Momma” regardless if you were related to her or not.
Survivors include her devoted daughters, Leah J. Pruitt (Bob) and Kathleen Snider (David); son, Timothy Whited (Duke); granddaughter, Morgan Stewart (Curtis); and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Layla, Aubrey and Karaline. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John “Buck” Wesley Buxton; and siblings, William, Paul and Richard “Ike” Cloud, Lillian Rankin and Edna Faulk.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. A service will follow at 1 p.m. with family and friends sharing stories of Pauline.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W. Elm St., Lebanon, IN 46052 or the Humane Society for Boone County, 5366 S. Indianapolis Rd., Whitestown, IN 46075. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
