Peggy J. Hineman, 88, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully with her husband Dwight Hineman by her side, Sunday, December 12, 2021. Peggy was born on January 22, 1933, in Switz City, Indiana to the late Peter “Pete” Fines and Beatrice (Bennett) Fines.
Peggy was a lifelong homemaker, and loved being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made the best snickerdoodles and homemade pies! She enjoyed traveling with her husband on many Buick tours.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Dwight Hineman; her children, Garry Hineman (Darla) and Connie Hornback (Steve); her siblings Roland Fines, Port St. Lucia, Fl., and Patty York (Chet), (Greenville, IL), and her grandchildren; Travis Hineman, Tyler Hineman (Danika), Daniel Hornback (Heather), Ricky Hardymon (Brooke), Robert Hardymon, and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her son Jay Hineman, and brother, Richard “Dick” Fines.
Peggy’s Celebration Visitation will be Saturday, December 18, 2021, 2 to 4pm, at Gasburg Baptist Church, 11564 N Gasburg Road, Mooresville, IN. The funeral service will begin at 4pm, with Jack Elliott officiating.
