Phillip Spitzer Obituary

Phillip Jacob Spitzer, 76, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was born on December 31, 1946 in Hillsborough, North Carolina to the late Emil and Peggy (Crabtree) Spitzer.

He served in the United States Navy as a medic during the Vietnam War and loved to fish.

Survivors include his longtime companion of 40 years, Irma Leary; siblings, Danny (Nancy) Spitzer and Vicki (Bill) Spitzer; nieces and nephew, Laura (Aaron) O’Connor, Jody Richie and Jacob Spitzer. He was preceded in death be siblings, Gerald Spitzer and Lee Roller.

Private services will be held.
