Robert Kassing

Robert L Kassing Jr, 64 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday December 19, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1960 in Beech Grove, Indiana. 

Robert attended Decatur Central High School. 

Robert worked in security for over 20 years with a passion for public service. He loved fishing, racing, football especially the Colts as well as music and was an avid listener of Q95. He built model cars and enjoyed movies. When he went some where new he always took a camera. Spending time with his mother, family and friends were always at the top of his priority list whenever he could. 

He is preceded in death by his brother Brett Kassing. 

Robert is survived by his father Robert Kassing Sr. Of Port Charlotte Fl. , his mother Betty Trusty Kassing of Indianapolis, Indiana, his aunt Elizabeth Burner Of Englewood Fl. , aunt Mildred and David Straub of Stoughton, Illinois, his sister and brother in law Jean and Randall Norris of Port Charlotte, Fl., his daughter Kaitlin Leedy, two grandchildren Lila and Jace Leedy of Indianapolis, two nephews Wesley and Randall Lepper both of Indianapolis, step nephews Joshua and Andrea Norris, Cody Norris and Jacob Norris; step great niece Olivia Norris; and step great nephew Aiden Norris; several cousins he loved very much. Gary Morris his cousin who he shared most of his hobbies with. 

Per Robert’s wishes his cremated remains will be placed into the ossuary at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
