Ronald Albert Britton, age 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He was born on April 10, 1960 in Indianapolis to Earl Britton and Margaret Lucy (Brodhacker) Britton; his father preceded him in death.
Ronnie attended Orchard Country Day School. He served as a Private First Class in the US Army where he was a Tank Turrett Mechanic. He was later recalled during Operation Desert Storm where he then served in Ft. Hood, Texas. His service in the military lead to him becoming a automotive mechanic. Ronnie loved vintage cars, motorcycles, remote control cars and helicopters. He was a friend that could always be counted on.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Lucy Roland; sons, Andy (Robin) Britton and Scott (Terri) Britton; siblings, Annie (Jonathan) Wenzlaff, David (Allene) Riordan, Doody (Jen) VanArsdale and Rick (Diane) Britton; and grandchildren, Ryan Britton and Nolan Britton. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother Dannye Britton.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 11 to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service following at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
