Ronald "Shaggy" Eugene Raines

Ronald Eugene Raines, 36, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018.  He was born on March 31, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Donald Allen Raines and Patricia A. (Poe) Raines; he was preceded in death by his father. 

Ronald loved gaming, drawing and painting.  He was very handy and could fix anything with his tools. 

Survivors include his loving mother, Patricia A. Eldridge and her husband, Philip; brothers, Griffin Allen Raines, Donald Lee Raines and Jeffery Scott Raines; sister, Courtney Snider; maternal aunts, Barbara Johnson (James), Marlene Sands (Billy), Sandra Chang and Marsha Wickline (Michael); paternal aunts, Kathleen Raines-Roberts, Vickey Raines and Della Batchelor; maternal uncles, Rodney Poe (Gloria), Warren Poe and Christopher Poe; paternal uncle, John Smith (Angel); and nieces, Haily Raines and Hanna Raines. 

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Margaret Poe; paternal grandparents, Dolores Dodson Raines and Donald Lee Raines; paternal uncle, Eddis Lee Raines.  

Family and friends will gather on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A service will follow visitation at 4 p.m. to celebrate his life.  Following services, cremation will take place.
