Rosemary "Rosie" Ann (Moore) Jackson

Rosemary “Rosie” Ann Jackson, 47, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1979, in Indianapolis to Marshall C. Moore and Mary Ann (Morgan) Harding.

Rosie lived a life full of energy, love, and authenticity. She enjoyed camping, especially with her grandchildren, sitting around campfires, and decorating rocks with her creative touch. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into every moment with them.

Rosie brought joy and laughter to family gatherings, and she was especially known for going all‑out during the annual holiday “white elephant” gift exchange, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. Adventurous and determined, she even taught herself how to ride a motorcycle. She was loving, loyal, direct, and endlessly friendly, someone who truly never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband of six years, Shawn G. Jackson; her parents, Marshall C. (Nancy) Moore and Mary Ann (Roger) Harding; her children, Darrian Russel, Devan Craig, and Desiree Craig; her siblings, Paul Stammer, Mike (Christy) Stammer, and Amber (Mike) Snyder; step-siblings, Angelina (John) Hansel, Eva (Joe) Ashmore, Joe (Angie) Smith, Tonya (Melvin) Flores and Crystal (Matt) Ashman; and her beloved grandchildren, Journey Fowler, Jacqueline Fowler, Aiden Craig, Abel Craig, and Maliyah Craig. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service celebrating her life at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
