Rosita Annette (Villasenor) Wright

Rosita Annette (Villasenor) Wright , 77, of Greenwood, passed away at home on October 25, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on November 22, 1946, in Stratford Upon Avon, England, to Francisco Villasenor and Reine (Painter) Snoddy.

Rosita attended Emmerich Manual High School. Then married the love of her life Paul William Wight on November 14th, 1964. She loved being a stay-at-home Mother raising their 3 children. She later was a florist at East New York Flower Shop. 

Rosita was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, GiGi, daughter, sister and aunt. Her family was her world. Everyone that knew her was touched by her loving spirit and she had a heart of gold that shined on everyone she knew.   

Rosita loved watching birds and the spring flowers bloom. Her and Paul enjoyed visiting state parks and camping with family. Her eyes would speak volumes. Her grandchildren loved to make her laugh and smile. They would always surprise her with a large Diet Coke when visiting her. She also loved drinking coffee. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. 

She is survived by her Son Paul (Paula) Wright II; Daughters Annette (Joe) Craig and Danielle Wright.  Sisters; Anna Wagner and Theresa (Paul) Scavarda, Brother Michael Meyer, Grandchildren; Arrica, Savannah, Paul III, John, Kyler, Arrial, Kaylee, Brandi, Sammy, and Joey. Also Great Grandchildren; Chelsi, Rosita, Miley, Dayton, Matthew, Jayla, Brantley, Kayvan, Forest, Hazel, Hunter, Roman, Charlotte, Raegan, Aryanna, Colt, Nova, and Wilder and many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul William Wright Sr., Mother Reine Snoddy, Dad James B. Snoddy, sister Carmelita Clester. 

Family and friend will gather on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 3 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
