Scottie Dale McGuire, Sr., age 62, of Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away August 28, 2020. Scottie was born June 5, 1958 in Indianapolis, the son of Luther Franklin, Jr. and Anna Dean (Willoughby) McGuire.

Scottie owned and operated Scott's Used Car Dealership from 1984 until his retirement in 2017. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his grandchildren, and especially enjoyed having that occasional Natural Light beer.

Scottie is survived by his son, Scottie Dale McGuire, Jr. and his wife, Tabby of Quincy, Indiana; brother, Mickey McGuire of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Scottie D. McGuire, III of Quincy and Haley McGuire Witt and her husband, Shane of Greencastle; and great-granddaughter, Addilyn Witt of Greencastle. In addition to his parents, Scottie was precede in death by a brother, Darrell F. McGuire.
