Sean Marcus Earl, 41, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2023.
Sean was born on March 23, 1982, to Stephen and Marcia Earl in Beech Grove, IN.
After Sean graduated from Greenwood High School in 2000, he went on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and International Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. During his time in Bloomington, he studied abroad at IFI Groupe ESC in Rouen, France and was a member of IU’s Bowling Team. In 2021, Sean graduated from Logan University, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance.
After graduating college, Sean moved to Indianapolis, where he began his career working in IT Project Management. In recent years, he started his own company, PNP Nutrition, where he provided nutrition and health coaching to individuals looking to improve their fitness and overall health.
In 2005, Sean began dating Amy (Ruth). Sean and Amy went on to marry in 2007, and had two boys, Kale (13) and Colt (9). They moved to Lawrence Township, where they spent their married life of 16 years, and raising their children.
Sean was an avid health and fitness enthusiast, and he enjoyed lifting weights, hiking, cycling, traveling and any other outdoor activity with his family. He was a wonderful baker and home chef and enjoyed making meals and desserts for his family and friends. Sean was also a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts, and IU Hoosiers. He also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, watching his sons compete in sports and robotics, and any event that involved socializing with his cherished family and friends. Most importantly, Sean was a dedicated husband and father, who put his love for his wife and children above all else.
Sean was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Earl. He is survived by his wife, Amy Earl; sons, Kale and Colt Earl; mother, Marcia Earl; parents-in-law Thomas and Lorie Ruth; sisters-in-law Michelle (Steven) Hallmark and Katey (Sean) Preuss; nieces and nephews Trenton (19), Peyton (15), Kaylyn (11), Holly (10), Danielle (10), and Allison (7); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life honoring Sean will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 4pm-7pm at Louis J. Jenn Memorial Park in Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support Amy and the boys at https://gofund.me/14275183.
