Shari Kay Miller

Shari Kay Miller, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in I.U. Methodist Hospital with her husband at her side.  She was born on May 8, 1951 in Linton, Indiana to the late Enest Enochs and Barbara Ray.  Shari was married for almost 20 years to the love of her life, Tracy Alan Miller.

Shari was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put others first.  She was always kind and helpful when anyone needed help or a listening ear. 

Survivors include her husband, Tracy Miller; children, Charles “Benny” Benefiel and Sean Benefiel; brothers, Billy Ray and Denny Ray; sisters, Jeri Ray and Shirley Eads; grandchildren, Brittany Benefiel, Halee Benefiel, Michael Kortz, Shaylen Hines, Silas Benefiel, Chelsea Benefiel and Kurstie Purtlebaugh; great-grandchildren, Jalah, Nevaeh, Cameron, Richard and Graysyn. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gloria Lambert; and granddaughter, Mariah Benefiel.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service following at 3 p.m. She will be cremated prior to services as were her wishes.
