Sharon Coffman Obituary

Sharon Kaye Coker Coffman left us peacefully on November 15, 2024 in Indianapolis surrounded by her loving family.  Born February 25, 1947 in Beech Grove, IN, Sharon lived a life full of love and laughter.  As a full-time mother, grandmother, and wife, Sharon spent her days bringing joy to all she met. Sharon is a graduate of Beech Grove High School class of 1965 and she met her husband Steve at a party on December 22, 1962. After graduation, Sharon worked at Indiana Bell before marrying her husband Steve Coffman in 1968 and beginning her love affair of being a mother.  She found joy in scrapbooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and in crafting specialized presents for her loved ones. Most of all, Sharon loved making those around her feel special, seen, and heard.  Sharon’s proudest accomplishments include her 56-year marriage with Steve, her 10 children and 28 grandchildren.  With her guidance and love, the family stays close and supportive of each other.
