Sharon Ann Rowland

Sharon Ann Rowland, 63, of Indianapolis, peacefully passed away at home, December 11, 2022 with her family by her side. 

Sharon was currently employed with MSD Warren Township Schools for the last 22 years.  Previously she worked for Laughner’s Cafeteria for 24 years.  She was very dedicated to both jobs and was looking forward to retirement.  Sharon was a member of Post Road Christian Church and the Moose Lodge.  She enjoyed bingo, attending dinners and other events at the lodge and enjoyed her involvement as a greeter at Post Road Christian Church. 

Sharon was kindhearted, loving and generous.  To know Sharon is to know her smile and laugh that lifted spirits.  Sharon loved life and being with family and friends.  She also loved to entertain her great-nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her mom, Marilyn Rowland; twin sister, Karen St.Clair (Charles), Robert Rowland (Robin), Jeffery Rowland (Linda), Kenneth Rowland (Marty), and Stephen Rowland (Tanya); six nieces/nephews and ten great-nieces/nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her dad, Milton Rowland.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Post Road Christian Church, 1112 N. Post Rd., with a service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Whorlow officiating.  Graveside services will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association, envelopes will be provided at the church.
