Stanley James Willey, age 29, of Clark County, Indiana, was preciously called to the gates of Heaven. Stanley was born on August 26, 1994, in Jeffersonville, IN, to James Patrick Willey of Hibernia, IN, and Karol Lee Hanry (Greer), of Jeffersonville, IN.
Stanley, also known as "Stan the Man," enjoyed spending time with his family. Stanley was a high school graduate, who enjoyed history and science. He had many hobbies including basketball, collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and was an avid video gamer. Stanley was a member of New Hope Community Church, located in New Washington, IN. He was proudly baptized in the Christian faith.
Stanley is survived by his parents, Karol Lee Henry (Greer) and James Patrick Willey, his two older sisters, Samantha Montgomery of New Washington, IN and April Dabney of Jeffersonville, IN, a niece, Kendall Marie, five nephews, Gabriel, Joseph, Bently, Ganon, and Zeke, and many extended family members. Stanley was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Judy Kay Cunningham, of New Washington, IN and his paternal grandfather, James "Bud" Willey of New Washington, IN.
Life celebration services are being held for Stanley with a private ceremony by family. In honor of Stanley, the family is asking for no flowers, but instead for donations to be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Kentuckiana Epilepsy Foundation to support their causes and missions.
