Stephen A. Huck, 77, of Cocoa, Florida, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1947, in Beech Grove, to the late Albert A. and Mildred M. (Gottemoeller) Huck.
Steve attended St. Roch Catholic School and went on to graduate from Southport High School, class of 1965. He served in the United States Army. After his military service, he returned to Indianapolis, where he worked for Western Electric and later Naval Avionics. He ended up retiring from Patrick Air Force Base in Melbourne, Florida.
Survivors include his siblings, Monica (Albert) Baskerville, Bernadette M. (Leo) Lauck, Madonna (Matt) Akard and Leslie Clumb; aunt, Mary Jo Applegate; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and twin brother, Gregory L. Huck.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring or early summer at St. Roch Catholic Church of which he was a member for many years until moving to Florida.
