Steven Jackson

James “Steven” Jackson, 54, passed away June 24, 2020 at his Beech Grove residence.  The son of James Jackson and Martha (Welker) Jackson, Steven was born January 20, 1966 in Indianapolis.

A maintenance technician with Interstate Warehousing, Steve retired in 2012 after 10 years of service.  Previously, he had lived in Brown County, Indiana, enjoyed drinking an occasional Coors Lite and taking in the time to go hunting or fishing.

Steven is survived by sons, J. Ryan (Lindsey) Jackson of Shelbyville and Justin T. Jackson of Indianapolis; stepmother, Rose Jackson of Nashville, IN; ex-wife, Sharon Jackson of Indianapolis; sister, Teresa Jackson of Indianapolis, stepsisters, Teresa Leynes of Nineveh, Nancy Parrish of Locust Grove, OK and Lori (Harold) Connerley of Wanamaker; half-brother, Wesley Jackson of Nashville, IN, stepbrothers, Ron Parrish of Indianapolis, Bill Ellis of Madison, IN, William “Bill” Parrish of St. Louis, MO and Lloyd Parrish of Edgewater, Fl; granddaughter, Marley Jackson and grandson, Montgomery Jackson.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Jackson, mother, Martha Parrish and stepbrother, Jim Parrish.
