Susan Lynn Shirrell Barnes

Susan Lynn Shirrell Barnes, 59, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  She was born on February 27, 1963 in Indianapolis to the late Robert Thomas and Patricia (Shaffer) Shirrell.

Susan enjoyed helping people which lead to a successful career as a CNA in the healthcare industry for 20 plus years.  Her other love, was animals. 

Susan is survived by siblings, Garry Shirrell, Robert Shirrell, Jr., Randy Shirrell, Sandra Vanover, Stephen Shirrell and Nichole J. Shirrell-Calzada; ex-husband and best friend, William Gibbs; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mark Shirrell and Sharon Wyatt.
