Thomas Ley Calvano, 72, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Franciscan Health.  He was born on December 9, 1949, in Rutland, Vermont, to the late Earl and Edith (Calvano) Ley.

He was an avid golfer and celebrated a hole in one on June 17 2022.  He spent much of his time with his buddies at Southside Cigar & Tobacco.  He loved to travel with his wife Linda.   Most importantly, he loved his family and spent lots of time with them. He always had a joke and words of wisdom to offer.   He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca Ley Peavler (Brian), Aaron M. Calvano and Teresa Ley Bauer (Ed); brother, Bob Ley (Bev); and grandchildren, Richey Peavler, Riley Peavler, Sydney Bauer, Spencer Bauer, Gage Hessman (Maria), Madison Leggio (Seth), Callie Calvano and Vinnie Nordhoff.  He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Linda (Riggs) Calvano.

A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, August 26 at 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with his son-in-law, Brian Peavler, officiating.  A reception will follow the service in the funeral home from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
