Wilma Francine (Hicks) Deich

Wilma Francine (Hicks) Deich, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Wilma was born on Friday, January 24, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late William Francis Hicks and Mary Elizabeth (Wishmeyer) Hicks Wilson.

A registered nurse, Wilma retired in 1995 from Norton Healthcare Centers. She previously had worked at Riley Hospital for Children. She was a member of LifeJourney Church.

She is survived by a sister, Marylyn Beldon of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Ray Deich, whom she married on April 18, 1986 and two sisters.

Per Wilma’s request, after her cremation, her remains will be buried with her parents in Abundant Life Memorial Gardens, New Albany, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial contributions in Wilma’s name be made to LifeJourney Church, 2950 East 55th Place  Indianapolis, IN  46220.
