Colleen Ann Ablog, 50, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 30, 1967 in Des Plaines, Illinois to Joseph and Ellen Schultz.
Colleen was a graduate of the prestigious Columbia College School of Dance in Chicago. She was an award winning Ballroom/Latin professional for Arthur Murray Dance Studios and later became the Butler University Ballroom Dance Director for 23 years. Colleen was more than a mother to her children as she was also their homeschool teacher; in addition she taught in the educational coop at LifePoint Church (Ballroom Dancing). She was an ACBC Biblical Councilor Candidate and was truly a woman after God’s own heart. She was a Godly woman and wife and her favorite phrase was “Do it all for the glory of God.” She was the love of her husband’s life and the best ballroom and Latin dance partner in the world. Colleen’s proudest moments are raising her 2 beautiful sons to become Godly men. Above it all, she loved and dedicated her life to serving Jesus as a born again Christian.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Angelo G. Ablog, Jr.; and sons, Angelo “A.J.” Joseph Ablog, III and Daniel William Ablog.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 3 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Additional visitation will be held before services on Saturday, January 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. with a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. in LifePoint Church, 8540 Combs Rd., Indianapolis of which she was a long-time member. Pastor Jym Gregory will officiate at the service. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
