James Xavier Rosner, 50, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 23, 1966 in Indianapolis to William and Zita Rosner.
A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, James worked at Martin Transport as a logistics manager. Among his many interests James loved to play guitar, enjoyed water sports, gardening, flying his helicopters and enjoyed rock and roll music.
He is survived by his mother, Zita Marie Rosner; his two sons, Jacob and Samuel Rosner; his four brothers, Paul Rosner (Wendy) of Fortville, David Rosner (Sharon) of Chandler AZ, Dan Rosner (Ginny) of Indianapolis, and Rob Rosner ( Cher) of Tampa Bay FL; his sister, Zita Jo Carroll (Mark) of Greenwoood; along with numerous extended family and close friends.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church ( 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220). Calling will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass.
