I met Lydia at Life Journey Church which used to be JMCC. We sang next to each other for years in choir, gospel choir, and special music times. I loved singing tenor with her. Lydia's smile was infectious. Her attitude contagious. Her life a true example of a Christ follower. The most impactful moment for me was Lydia's performance in 2014 at Life Journey's talent show... an interpretative dance done to Be Happy that showed her journey with her physical health struggles... filled with hope and joy that transcended her aliments. God has and will continue to use Lydia's example in my life. I am forever blessed to have known Lydia. My prayers for family and those who's lives were touched by this sweet spirit.

Lydia, may the poker gods in heaven give you all of the winning hands. You deserve them! You will be greatly missed at poker night on Thursdays. Thinking of you, as you now dance pain free with the angels.

I met Lydia when attending JMCC. Lydia always made me feel welcome. Though many shall miss her, she is home. Thank you Lydia for your kindness!

Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).
