We extend our deepest sympathy to your entire family. Jil always shared wonderful stories of Froelich family gatherings during holidays and she impressed me as being a traditional, strong Italian woman who lived for her family and loved spending time cooking and feeding them, when she wasn't beating them at cards! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

As a young girl, I can remember Grandma cooking huge batches of spaghetti, her special Italian chicken broth (red soup), or true Italian pizza with anchovies on many a Saturday nights as her family gathered in her kitchen. I looked forward to her Christmas cookies every year because no one made Italian cookies like Grandma. As the years have gone by and our families have all grown, I'm ashamed to say that I didn't make much time for Grandma, but I hope that she knows that she helped instill in me a love for family, a love of cooking, and most importantly, a love for Christ Jesus beyond measure. I love you Grandma - give a big hug to Grandpa and Eddie John for me.
