My Condolences to Shirley`s Family. I met Shirley in Bergen, Norway - in 1967. I visit her again in Indianapolis in November 1971. She was back in Bergen in 1972. Since then we not had contact, but Shirley has always been in my thoughts. So this Christmas I felt contacted again. Then I see, Shirley Died, August 15. 2016. I have no Words. I loved Shirley like a Brother and Sister relationship. And no I can not see her again. Rest in Peace, Yours truly.... Rolf

My deepest sympathy to Shirley's family and friends. Although I never had the opportunity to meet her, we share several things--a birthday on Feb 11th and graduating from DePauw. Her nephew has shared many stories of her life, her dear family and her devoted band of friends. She will be missed by many. Peace be with you all. Love, Donna

I had the pleasure of getting to know Shirley through Soroptimist International of Indianapolis. She was a wonderful person to be around, very kind, enthusiastic and helpful. I have very fond memories of Shirley and I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones.

So sorry to hear of Shirley ' passing. She was a wonderful and pleasant person. We often shared laughs together and we were good friends. I will miss her but know she is with God now.
